A Stitched-up, color-coordinated, wallpaper book cover

because I have more time than I know what to do with, evidently, and I wanted the book (which I love...who doesn't love a rogue of a captain once in a while?) in my bedroom but the cover was blue.

Before:
After:
(BTW, it wasn't until I was taking "after" pics that I noticed that the spine ISN'T blue...it's gold. {sigh} oh well.)

Ok. That is adorable! Are you sure you don't want to do those when you come over?

Very cute! I would have never thought to coordinate my books with my bedroom, lol.

Lia--I'll bring some wallpaper...it barely took any time at all, so you can do it while I plod along with learning free-motion. I have the foot & a sewslip, but haven't had a chance to test them out yet. grrr.

Katie--Yes, uh, it's one of those anal things that I do...my bedroom has reds, golds/yellows, black, and a few white books on the shelf. The spare room has pastel colored "love theme" books. Only those two rooms have color restrictions--the rest of the rooms, if they have books, are more theme-based (reference books by the computer, art & literature in the armoire, cookbooks in the hutch, kids books...um, everywhere.

Anal that I just typed all of that out, too.

So cute! So funny too, I just read my sister in law's blog and she was RAVING about that book.
